"Thank you! .. I can't tell you how thrilled we are to hear about the proceeds and their allocation! What a fabulous gift to Yorktown!!! I was running a 7th and 8th grade dance this past Friday at the Elks Club and had no idea that The Alliance for Safe Kids was included in this generous gift from the Festival proceeds. We will certainly thank the Chamber more formally but I just had to let you know right now that this donation will make a world of difference to the families in our community.

"Congratulations on a first-class event on Saturday. The Festival was a huge success and, I hope, the first of many to come. Second, on behalf of the Dog Park folks, thank you and to all the many people who worked hard to make it a success. We raised over $500 and more importantly, added over 100 new members and the visibility afforded by our presence generated great interest and awareness. We knew there was public interest in a Yorktown dog park, but I would say that even we were surprised at how strong and widespread that interest was!
